Is Cuba safe to visit?

Cuba is very safe for visitors. It feels safer than many of the places our guests live.

Our experience with Cuba mirrors what is stated on tripadvisor: “Violent Crime (is) still (almost) unheard of - against tourists, that is.” We have not experienced any crimes against our guests thus far. Even our guests who have left cameras or phones behind in taxis have had the taxi driver bring the item back to the hotel 75% of the time.
